Creative Photographer based in Paris, MO

Photography has always been a passion of mine since I was young. I grew up in a small town, Paris, MO, where I started growing this passion. It started off small, taking photos of my family and friends then it quickly turned into me doing senior sessions, families and groups, engagements, and portrait photos. My journey really began when I was able to travel to New York City where I learned from a family friend and photographer, Gaby Deimeke (the photo on this page was captured by her!). She helped me understand the basics of my new camera and let me shadow her for the day. Additionally, she took my senior pictures and gave me tips on modeling for these photos. Seeing how she worked was an amazing experience and provided me with my first chance to get to know both sides of the camera!

After graduating high school in Missouri, I attended the Rocky Mountain School of Photography Summer Intensive 2021 Session in Missoula, Montana. It was such a thrilling experience, learning all the different styles of photography and seeing the techniques that others use. Not only was I learning to navigate behind the camera but getting to witness others building their skills from in front of it.

At RMSP, I was able to expand my ideas into a new style of editorial photography that I was learning about. Upon completing the RMSP Summer Intensive certification, I returned to Missouri and graduated in April 2023 from Columbia College, Columbia, MO, with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Management. In the past year, I have been working with a talented husband and wife photography team, Schaefer Photography, allowing me to continue my learning and broadening my skills. I have also had the privilege of modeling for several photo shoots, which again has offered the opportunity to learn both sides of the camera. I plan to combine my photography skills and my knowledge of marketing to create unique pieces of work wherever I go.

I always look forward to every shoot that I do, no matter what style it is. I enjoy creating vision boards personalized to what you, the client, want for each session. Everyone has their own idea of what they hope to see in their photos. I want to bring that idea to life for you! Having the experience from behind and in front of the camera, I plan to make your session comfortable and fun for everyone.
